   Troop 223 is sponsored by Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Southern Pines NC.    We were established at the church in 1940 something.  We have been a part of this amazing community and honored to serve and support those who live here.  Since our establishment we have seen many boys achieve the highest honor of Scouting, the rank of Eagle Scout.

   We meet on Wednesday nights at the Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Southern Pines from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.  Our meetings address upcoming adventures, service projects, focusing on activities needed to advance, and other topics.

   Our troop hosts kids from all over Moore County, not just Whispering Pines.
